Elin Lundgren och Petter Pettersson,Liliths konstnärliga ledare, gör nu sitt största samarbete någonsin med sin ”Island in the Sun” där publiken bjuds in till ett oförutsägbart sammanhang i en gigantisk festplats.

It’s official – One of the Summer Stage Malmö’s more spectacular efforts is a co-production with Lilith Performance Studio, which will present a new performance ”Island in the Sun” by Elin Lundgren and Petter Pettersson on 4-7 August.
Elin Lundgren and Petter Pettersson will do their largest ever collaboration with their ”Island in the Sun” in which the audience is invited to an unpredictable contexts.

Lilith Performance Studio presented Modern Lives – a new performance by the Finnish/Israeli artist Dafna Maimon.
March 10-12 & 17-19, 2016
Modern Lives draws its starting point from the life of a real person; the artist’s mother Ulrica Maimon, who in the early 2000s, created an alter ego for herself, the 1860s goldsmith’s widow Mrs. Gyllendaal Af Berntas. Mrs. Gyllendaal moved in to Maimon’s apartment, which was then furnished in a period-correct style. Throughout the years, Gyllendaal’s biography developed, along with her wardrobe and everyday tasks. Within the home, even family, friends and acquaintances participate in the roleplay.
At Lilith Performance Studio a full-size domestic arena has been built up for the alter ego Mrs. Gyllendaal. The widow inhabits the house together, with her doppelgängers, and her staff. This performative space becomes a construction site for the self, where the self can be seen as a multi-layered, fluxuating entity; an emotional landscape in motion. We step into the afterlife of trauma, where repetitive distorted fantasies form a surreal and melancholic world where its inhabitants echo themselves as prisoners of their own condition.

Lilith Performance Studio i Malmö söker alla typer av människor i ålder 17- 75 år, olika utseenden, ursprung och storlekar, till att medverka i en ny omfattande performance av konstnären Dafna Maimon. Alla typer av roller ska tillsättas, vissa där det krävs god scenvana och andra där ingen tidigare erfarenhet krävs, endast god vilja. Performancen visas , 10-12 & 17-19 mars på Lilith Performance Studio.
Just nu söker vi speciellt unga killar med blont hår och blåa ögon mellan 13-19 år samt äldre damer med blont hår och blåa ögon mellan 55 -75 år.
Performancen kommer vara en blandning av levande bilder, publikinteraktion och spelade scener. Det som främst krävs är förmåga att hålla fokus under en längre tid och att kunna ta instruktioner. Performancen kommer pågå i ca 3 timmar vid 6 tillfällen.

Lilith Performance Studio in Malmö is looking for all kinds of people aged 17- 75 years, different appearances, origins and sizes, to participate in a new comprehensive performance by the artist Dafna Maimon. All types of roles will be casted, some which require good stage experience and others where no previous experience is required, just good will and focus.
The performance will beshown; 10-12 & March 17 to 19 at Lilith Performance Studio in Malmo.
The performance will be a mixture of live images, audience interaction and played scenes. The primary need is the ability to stay focused for a long time and be able to take instructions. The performance will last for about 3 hours on 6 occasions.

It needed no preparation for the audition. We will work on the spot. Rehearsal will be about 4-6 times in the evenings in late February and early March. A one-time fees are paid to all participants at 999 SEK.
