16 MARCH
LIVE READING / 14.30 – 15.30 – Protect the Salmon
Readers: Asta Kamma August & Fredrik Gunnarson
Protect the Salmon is a play by Ida Marie Hede, commissioned for the exhibition iwillmedievalfutureyou2.
In a neutral scenography, two characters, a man and a woman, are talking to each other. The two are employed at a cryonics clinic,
and are surrounded by both the dormant bodies of the past and the abstract possibility of future life. As time- and space travelers,
they take turns telling each other anecdotes and memories, and recounting intimate situations from their lives, trying to understand
our current, past, and future societies.
LIVE PERFORMANCE / 16:30 – 17.00
Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir – ENIGMA
Duration: 30 min
Performer: Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir
Tenor recorder players: Selma Franssson, Vanja Smith
ENIGMA occupies the liminal space between temporal dimensions, where reading and writing
merge with evolving forms of knowledge transmission. Drawing on medieval manuscripts, modern slogans,
riddles and speculative futures, the performance explores the use of text in general as a dynamic flux,
an open space that shifts and changes.
The work moves between the ethereal and material, where mending
objects mirrors the reconstruction of meaning and offers a reflection on the potential for both individual care and
collective repair in navigating an uncertain future.
ONGOING LIVE PERFORMANCES / 14.00 – 17.00
Leif Holmstrand – Apotheosis None
Performer: Leif Holmstrand
A figure shrouded in jute and hemp envelops objects left behind by their deceased relatives in the same two materials,
attaches these mementos to broken strollers, lifts them, sings to them, and guides them on their journey out of life.

Daniel Mårs & Petra Mölstad
Duration 20 min
Daniel Mårs
“I work with themes of identity, body, eroticism, and queerness, often set against a rural backdrop.
My texts stem from an experience of marginalization and limitation, and I am interested in the possibilities of the non-normative poetic self
to claim a context or create a new existence. – Daniel Mårs
In recent years Mårs has written Simonillusioner (Simon Illusions, 2017), Voilà! (2020), and Min totala njutning (My Total Pleasure, 2022).
The poems in Min totala njutning were created for a performance piece of the same name, a collaboration between Mårs and LILITH Artist Duo, which premiered at
Lilith Performance Studio in the fall of 2022. In the fall of 2025, he will release his new book Äger tid av natt och år (Owns Time of Night and Year).
Petra Mölstad
”I write to subjugate the language that has subjugated us, forcing it to become mine, taking all the terms we have been given and breaking them limp,
but also to denaturalize it and simultaneously undomesticate it into becoming whatever the hell it wants, belonging to whomever it wants.
’The thief’s best friend, gives and takes again,’ as the saying goes.” — Petra Mölstad
In recent years, Mölstad has published several poetry collections, including: Vi har hägn (We Have Enclosures, 2017),
Din disciplin. (Your Discipline., 2020), and Landskapskynnen (Landscape Dispositions, 2024).

Waste of Death – LILITH Artist Duo
Performer: Selma Kjelsson
Music: Siri Jennefelt
Duration: 12 min
Waste of Death is a performance that explores the fine line between decay and desire. Through a series of
choreographed movements teetering between surrender and struggle, the body’s functions dissolve in a motion that both implodes and expands.
Every gesture, every shift becomes an echo of the longing to be seen, to exist in the gaze of the observer. A collision of yielding and conquest.
A tribute to the relentless need to exist and to leave a trace behind.

Voices: David Dencik and Asta Kamma August
Music: Joakim Wei Bernild
Protect the Salmon is a play by Ida Marie Hede, commissioned for the exhibition iwillmedievalfutureyou2.
In a neutral scenography, two characters, a man and a woman, are talking to each other. The two are employed at a cryonics clinic,
and are surrounded by both the dormant bodies of the past and the abstract possibility of future life. As time- and space travelers,
they take turns telling each other anecdotes and memories, and recounting intimate situations from their lives, trying to understand
our current, past, and future societies.

LIVE PERFORMANCES / POETRY READING / FILM / EXHIBITION
LIVE PERFORMANCE
Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir (IS) – ENIGMA
19.00 – 19.30
Duration: 30 min
Performers: Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir
POETRY READING Leif Holmstrand
20.15 – 20.35
Leif Holmstrand is an author, artist, and musician. In their art, Holmstrand combines traditional handicraft with
a fascination for horror films and burlesque popular culture. Their works, referencing their own family history, mental health,
trans identity, drag, and gay culture, take chaotic forms in large-scale sculptures and performances, giving these themes a
striking visual representation.

merge with evolving forms of knowledge transmission. Drawing on medieval manuscripts, modern slogans,

Through slow acts of disassembly and reconstruction, Asta uses music and gestures to balance acts that
reflect on the tension between repair and decay. The work moves between the ethereal and material, where mending
objects mirrors the reconstruction of meaning and offers a reflection on the potential for both individual care and
