Study of Slope is a site-specific performance installation performed by a choir of tone-deaf / self-proclaimed non-musical singers, set in a vast sea of nettles.
Lina Lapelytė explores imbalance and deviation by highlighting individuals without a “musical ear,” questioning the dominant norms within Western musical traditions that often exclude voices that do not fit.
